Les Mis

It’s true, I couldn’t resist seeing Les Mis and although I found it long (make the movie stop!) the grand scenes blew me away …

The opener in the shipyard, Anne Hathaway in I Dreamed A Dream half-way through and the final scenes on the tumultuous Paris barricades. Jackman, Crowe and Hathaway and director Hooper should win all the availables at the Oscars. Go, stars!

  1. Yes, loved Les Mis. Veeery theatrical, but the grand sweep of scenes, singing ( except for Russell’s) all fantastic. I never tire of this music. Hughie was superb and loved Ali G and Helen Bonham Carter’s double act.
